Love, love, love beach family pictures! This family is from Pittsburgh and were vacationing here on Siesta Key. The last time they had professional photos done was when they got married 8 years ago! That means they never had professional family pictures ever. So we had to hook them up.
We started about an hour and half before sunset with a treasure hunt for the kiddos. It was an excellent idea that we have never done before, kudos Mom. The kids found the treasure full of coins, jewels and money in which some was given to Vince. (He actually had it in his shorts still when he got home haha). Anyways, the kids got changed into their “beach clothes” (white and khaki) and we finished the session. The kids were sooo outgoing, and were not afraid of the camera in their face. They really enjoyed taking photos.
The location and setting was near Siesta Dunes condos, the weather was pretty much cloudy the whole session which didn’t provide a great sunset. The upside to that was that “God’s soft box” was out which provides great lighting before the sun sets below the horizon. Loved how these pictures came out! We absolutely love shooting in Sarasota, Florida it’s just so beautiful, the atmosphere, the gorgeous sand, the wildlife, and even the smells just adds to it’s beauty. More family sessions are coming soon!
