GENERAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY FAQS

Where is Fallbrook located?

Although there is a Fallbrook, California, (we didn’t know there was a city named Fallbrook) Fallbrook Photography is located in beautiful Sarasota, Florida. We absolutely love it here!

Do you also shoot video?

We do! Vince is a trained videographer from the Marine Corps. He was a combat videographer from 2002-2006 so his background is video. We call it fusion. Now, we are wedding photographers FIRST. We focus on the wedding photography, however our assistant does shoot small clips of video for you. If you want a full video, edited and all that we definitely recommend getting a videographer for your wedding. But it is nice to have small clips of important events of your day especially if you do not have a videographer. Ask us about more details!

Do you do any other type of photography?

Weddings and engagements are the only photography that we do. However, many times our brides and grooms want us to take their family pictures as their family grows through out the years. When you are a bride and groom of ours, we will definitely do your family sessions. 🙂 It’s a benefit of using us to photograph your wedding!

Do you provide copyrights to the images?

Yes, all of our clients receive the copyrights that can be used to print images.

What kind of equipment do you use?

We all use high end Nikon gear. We invest tons of money into Nikon lenses specifically. 70-200mm F2.8 VRII, 24-70mm F2.8, 14-24mm F2.8, 85mm f1.8, 50 f1.8, 35 f1.8, 24mm. and Macro lenses.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, we have all the necessary insurance to shoot at virtually all venues.

Do you provide a website of pictures for family and friends?

Yes, all of our clients receive a picture album website.

BOOKING QUESTIONS

What is your retainer fee?

Our retainer fee (which is applied to your package) is 25% of the package.

Do you take credit cards?

Yes, this is our preferred method of payment. You can also pay with check or cash.

Can I pay the balance monthly?

Yes, you are able to make payments. We can set our clients with various payment plans.

What happens if we have to change our wedding date?

If you change your date, and we are available for that date, we will still shoot your wedding. If we are not available for the new date, the retainer fee is forfeited.

Is it possible to have family members "add" to our package?

They can definitely add to the package, make a payment to the package, or surprise you with a gift from us. The best way to do this is contact us. We have had brides write our email address or contact info on their bridal shower invites. If a family member does contribute to your package we will send them a beautiful gift card that they can gift you. 🙂 It’s a great way to upgrade your album or wedding hours! 

PRE - WEDDING QUESTIONS

When can we expect to do our engagement photos?

Your engagement photos can be done anytime after booking. We suggest doing them as soon as you both can. If you want to do save-the-date cards we suggest doing them about 5-6 months out from your wedding. We work around our clients schedule so it really is up to you. 🙂  If you are not doing an engagement session with us, we do want to still sit down with you for coffee or lunch before the wedding if possible. We love to get to know our clients!

Do you do save-the-date cards?

We do not, however we shoot the photographs for them. 🙂 We do suggest a couple companies that are great at building the perfect save-the-date cards.

Will you shoot a bridal party or document getting the dress picked out?

Yes! We love doing these! There is an extra charge of course, but please let us know if you do want us to document an important event for you!

Will you travel for an engagement shoot?

We are always open for traveling for engagement sessions (and weddings)! There may be an extra charge depending on where you want your engagement shoot. Get in contact with us if you have an exciting idea! 

WEDDING DAY QUESTIONS

Do you provide a photography schedule for the wedding day?

Yes, we are basically mini “day of” planners. Especially if there is no wedding planner. We will do a full detailed photography schedule so that the groomsmen and bridesmaids know where to be and at what time. This helps make the day go more smoothly and you get to enjoy your day as much as possible, which is one of our goals!

POST - WEDDING DAY QUESTIONS

When can we expect our pictures and albums?

Pictures are completed about 2 weeks after the event. We produce a blog post (if ok with you) about a week after the event. The whole process from color correcting images to package drop off is 2.5 – 3 months. This time vary’s quite a bit on client communication (making adjustments to albums, approving album layout, ect.) as long as communication back and forth is quick 2.5 months is definitely achievable.

Can we upgrade our albums after the wedding?

Yes you can, however, it would definitely be more doing it after the wedding because we plan and initially pre-order our albums in advance. This keeps our prices down and we can pass that down to our clients.
