What is the biggest decision you’ll make in planning your wedding day? Will it be the catering, the cake, maybe the dress? As you may have guessed this was a trick question. You may think we’re bias, because we are wedding photographers, but we truly believe that the wedding photographer will be your biggest decision. The reason is this…GOOD wedding photography is expensive. Yes, you can have the Uncle Bob that has a portfolio of shooting dogs. BUT, understand that these pictures will outlive anything at your wedding. So it is critical that know your Sarasota wedding photographers personally. It doesn’t have to be a friend of course but meet with them, have an engagement session with them, and/or have coffee with them.

Since we truly feel wedding photography is so important, we also feel that our relationship with our clients is just as important. Get to know your wedding photographer! The reason why is because a personal connection really enables us to get to know who you are as a person and a couple – which ultimately aids us in capturing the most memorable emotions and moments ever. Not only that, but do you want a complete stranger shooting one of the most intimate days of your life, or someone that you feel uncomfortable with. After all, you will be with your wedding photographer all day.

Arguably the vendor you’ll spend the most time with before, during and after your wedding. So, our relationship with our clients is super important, especially since we’ll be spending a lot of time with you. We actually like to meet our bride and grooms before they even book us. This helps confirm for us and you, that we are the right photographer. We want to connect with you! If you choose another wedding photographer, doesn’t matter the reason, please get to know them. Often times, the relationship that is cultivated at that first consultation extends beyond the wedding day. There are multiple times even after a wedding we have dinner or “get togethers” with our with couples and even have built life long relationships.

Basically, while budgets definitely matters, we encourage you to really make sure that you find a photographer you connect with. The last thing we want for you is to book a photographer based on price alone and end up regretting the decision after your wedding.
