The double header weekend ended in downtown San Diego! We were so thankful for the change in weather and location, despite the cold weather by the end of the night (at least for us Arizonians)! The day started off with meeting the guys at the Hampton Inn in Downtown San Diego for their group shoot! It was so much fun shooting the guys in new, not too mention, much cooler (weather-wise) locations! We also loved the purple dress shirts sported by the Groomsmen! It was then back to the Hotel to shoot Blake and her girls getting ready in their room. Her girls were incredibly sweet, not to mention gorgeous and very photogenic! The Bridesmaids were all dressed in elegant, crisp white knee length dresses with accents of purple and flip-flops (which were very necessary for a beach wedding)! The bride was absolutely stunning in her gown! We need to say no more once you see the images below…We quickly then headed downtown to shoot some group shots and then head to the Coronado beach behind the Hotel Del Coronado(which is the very same spot Justin proposed to Blake!). The views and sounds of the beach were so refreshing! The tone of the wedding was elegant yet very relaxing and laid back. The father walked the bride down the isle or sanded path, right to the groom who stood under a small canopy accented with sheer purple curtains covering only altar. The ceremony was short yet sweet and was followed by a very fun family shoot! As the sun was setting, we finished up with the bridal party shoot and Romantics barefooted along the shore! So fun! We were also so excited that the Bride and Groom agreed to dedicate more time to shooting just the two of them! They were SO easy to work with! We got some amazing shots all around the Hotel Del Coronado! If you ever stay there, the place is breathtakingly gorgeous at night!! We then headed off for a late Grand Entrance (which the couple didn’t mind by the way) at Joe’s Crab Shack on Harbor Drive. The couple had a reception room set up for them which was very causal, yet accented with small touches of candlelight, pictures of the couple and a glimmering white cake with white flowers and starfish, that totally matched the theme of the wedding! The Bride and Groom did an amazing job planning a beach wedding that spoke casual meets classy. We want to thank the Bride and Groom, along with their family, who made us feel quite at home and almost like a special guest at their event! You all are so kind-hearted and welcoming! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special day!
