Legacy Lane Wedding – Brooksville, Florida – Bridget & Anthony

Getting Ready Location: Legacy Lane Weddings

Wedding and Reception Location: Legacy Lane Weddings

Introduction:

Bridget and Anthony’s ranch-style wedding at Legacy Lane was our first time shooting at this gorgeous Brooksville wedding, which sprawls across 40 acres of rolling hills and farmland. It centers around a magnificent residence known as the White House and features a six-stable barn that’s been converted into a reception venue. This Florida barn wedding venue also boasts on-site accommodation so the couple and their bridal party could turn the wedding day into a wedding weekend.

Bridget and Anthony share a lot of our passions, including fishing and spending time in the great outdoors, so it was really easy to connect with them from the moment we met. They were saying “I do” beneath a big tree in the landscaped grounds, which offer plenty of beautiful locations for portraits. But before the ceremony was to take place, there was plenty of excitement to capture as the couple prepared for their special day.

Getting ready photos at Legacy Lane Weddings:

While the girls were getting ready in the elegant White House, the guys had The Farmhouse at their disposal, complete with their own swimming pool and half basketball court. Tara was with the girls while they were having their hair and makeup done by the team of Destiny and Light while Vince photographed the guys showing off their Superhero socks in the gardens.

We documented Bridget’s gorgeous wedding dress hanging from a chandelier and in front of a fun cow portrait – one of several animal-themed artworks that feature throughout the White House. Tara grabbed black and white shots of the girls in their matching pajamas, as well as capturing candid shots as the bridesmaids helped Bridget into her dress. While Bridget is a lawyer, she is also very playful in nature and was such a natural in front of the camera.

Wedding ceremony photos at Legacy Lane Weddings:

After documenting a special moment with her mom, Bridget and the girls headed outside for a short portrait session, taking advantage of the perfect weather conditions. We photographed the girls blowing kisses towards the camera and captured some low-angle shots as Bridget led her bridesmaids and flower girl through a grassy field.

We also took a few portraits of the beautiful bride with her West Over Flowers bouquet before she stepped out of the White House to greet Anthony during their romantic first look session. After documenting their reactions to seeing one another for the first time on their wedding day, we grabbed some portraits of them framed by the soaring pillars of Legacy Lane’s whitewashed residence. We mixed it up with both classic and more playful shots before the bridal party joined us for some portraits on the long drive leading to the White House.

Ceremony photos at Legacy Lane Weddings:

The adorable flower girl kicked off the official ceremony proceedings as she made her way down the aisle, followed by Bridget on the arm of her dad. Around 130 guests joined them for the garden wedding ceremony at Legacy Lane, which was shaded in dappled life thanks to the sprawling branches of a large tree.

After exchanging vows and rings, Bridget and Anthony celebrated their new union with a kiss and made their recessional walk down the aisle. They were joined by their parents and bridal party for some playful portraits in this loved-up moment before we captured a few romantic shots of the couple beneath Bridget’s veil and on the whimsical garden swing.

Reception photos at Legacy Lane Weddings:

Bridget and Anthony’s wedding reception was being held in the Grand Oaks Carriage House, a rustic yet elegant venue featuring vaulted ceilings. After performing their first dance as their bridal party watched on, we snuck outside with them for some shots beside a black fence with a beautiful horse on the other side.

As dusk set in, we illuminated one of the stately trees with several off-camera flashes for a nighttime portrait session, with the couple embracing and Anthony twirling his bride. On return to the stables, everyone hit the dance floor to celebrate, with Bridget changing into a colorful pair of sneakers so she could really let loose.

Conclusion

We absolutely loved documenting Bridget and Anthony’s wedding at the gorgeous Legacy Lane and hope to return to this Brooksville wedding venue in the near future. We wish the couple all the happiness in the world as they embark on their marriage journey together and for everything the future holds.
