Introduction:
In addition to being the date of our daughter’s first birthday, February 17 was also the day that fun-loving couple Tammie and Greg were going to be saying their “I dos” at the St Thomas More Catholic Church. They are such a cool couple (and Greg and Vince had connected immediately over a mutual love of fishing), so we were excited to reconnect with them to capture this Sarasota Yacht Club wedding day.
Getting ready photos at the Hyatt Regency:
We met up with them in the morning at the Hyatt Regency where they were getting ready for their special day. As Tammie made her final preparations with her bridesmaids and the moms, we captured some casual portraits of Greg and his groomsmen in the gardens, followed by some details shots of Tammie’s gorgeous Jimmy Choo wedding shoes and bouquets from Flowers by Fudgie.
We then snuck into her suite to grab some black and white candids as she admired her gorgeous wedding dress hanging in the window and a creative shot looking through the doorway as her bridesmaids assisted her with the final touches. It was then time for the first look between Tammie and Greg in the leafy gardens of the Hyatt Regency, as well as a few bridal party portraits before the ceremony was due to start.

Ceremony photos at St Thomas More Catholic Church:
Tammie and Greg were holding their Sarasota wedding ceremony at the St Thomas More Catholic Church, with those closest to them watching on as they exchanged vows. We captured their Catholic wedding ceremony from multiple angles, including the reactions of not only the couple but also a cute wedding guest watching on.
As they made their recessional walk down the aisle and out of the St Thomas More Catholic Church, Tammie and Greg were showered with bubbles from their family and friends who were lining the way.

Portraits at the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens:
Tammie and Greg had organized to have their wedding portrait session in the beautiful Marie Selby Gardens. We didn’t end up spending as much time as planned in the gardens but did manage to grab a handful portraits beneath the sprawling banyan trees.
We captured a bridal party portrait with Greg dipping Tammie in the foreground and some intimate shots of just the bride and groom, as well as a creative black and white as they walked hand-in-hand through the Marie Selby Gardens. We then returned to the Sarasota Yacht Club for some more portraits in the gardens there, as well as some reflective shots of Tammie and Greg embracing in the lobby.

Reception photos at the Sarasota Yacht Club:
It was then time for the reception proceedings to get underway, beginning with Tammie and Greg’s intimate first dance. We captured up-close shots and wide-angles as their wedding guests watched on in what was a really elegant venue.
Tammie and Greg’s family and friends were treated to a high-end buffet dinner created by the Sarasota Yacht Club, then everyone hit the dance floor to party to the tunes being spun by the talented DJ Jay Gordon. We captured action shots of the bride and groom enjoying this moment with their loved ones and some details photos of the wedding rings before ending the evening with some nighttime portraits of the (slightly exhausted) couple.

Conclusion:
Tammie and Greg are such an energetic couple and really were the life of the party and we can’t thank them enough for selecting Fallbrook Photography to capture their wedding at the Sarasota Yacht Club. We wish them all the happiness in their married life together and whatever lies ahead.
