Introduction:
Seeing as Tyler is such a keen golfer, it made sense that he and his love, Candy, decided to tie the knot during an outdoor ceremony at a private golf club. Tyler told us that he tries to get out at least once a week to play and we have to agree that the sprawling greens of a golf course create such a gorgeous backdrop for wedding photography.

Getting ready photos:
We met up with the couple as they were getting ready at the onsite country club, with Candy and her three bridesmaids preparing in one suite and Tyler, his groomsmen and son, Ryan, in another. We captured candid shots as Candy had her make-up applied with the help of her mom, as well as creative shots of her stunning Martina Liana wedding dress and diamante-studded shoes. We just loved the attention to detail she had given to each and every aspect of her wedding attire, customizing them to be her very own.
We also captured some casual, black and white shots of Tyler and his groomsmen walking down one of the hallways together and a reflective shot in one of the mirrors. Then we got a little creative with a close-up shot of Ryan really enjoying this moment with all the boys!
Once Candy was dressed and ready, we used the time available to capture some portraits of her looking absolutely radiant in the naturally-lit suite window. We then headed down to the lobby for a few final portraits at one of the elegant wooden tables before she departed the country club for her wedding ceremony.

It was then time for the wedding ceremony which was being held on the grassy lawns of the private golf club, beginning with the flower girl adorning the aisle with petals. Candy followed arm-in-arm with her father and I captured Tyler’s emotional reaction in black and white at seeing his bride for the first time on their wedding day.
Candy and Tyler had a couple of hundred guests watch on as they exchanged vows and we thought it was particularly touching that Candy read vows for Tyler’s son as well, affirming her commitment to him. We captured close-up candid shots throughout their ceremony, as well as wide-angle shots taking in its lush, green surrounds.

After Candy and Tyler made their recessional walk down the aisle as “husband and wife”, We photographed a spontaneous kiss between them beneath a shaded tree before the formal portrait session began. We grabbed shots with their extended family and bridal party as they celebrated this new union, as well as some more classic bridal party portraits and family formals.
Candy had three bridesmaids dressed in pink and we got creative with a range of different shots in the whimsical, late-afternoon light. We also captured some portraits of Candy and Tyler with Ryan in their small family unit, as well as a creative photo as Ryan ran towards the camera while the couple stole a kiss behind.
Then as the sun slowly sank towards the horizon, we took advantage of the atmospheric lighting conditions during a romantic couple portrait session. We photographed Candy and Tyler looking lovingly into each other’s eyes beneath the sprawling trees of the private golf club, as well as capturing a black and white photo of them together in their golf buggy.

Candy and Tyler’s luxurious reception was being held in a country club at this private golf estate, beginning with an intimate first dance. This was followed by speeches and toasts, before Tyler went searching for Candy’s garter. We ended the evening with some romantic nighttime couple portraits, getting creative with the use of off-camera flash.
It was a really wonderful day spent with Candy and Tyler, being treated to such perfect weather, and we wish them all the happiness in their married life together.
