Introduction:
Dana and Barry had planned an intimate wedding with their closest family and friends at River Hills Country Club, a gorgeous wedding venue in Valrico. Despite there being a couple of showers throughout the day, their golf course ceremony went ahead as planned, followed by a cocktail-style reception inside the River Hills Country Club.
Getting ready photos at a private residence:
We began the day photographing Dana as he prepared with her two maids-of-honor and bridesmaids at her parents home, capturing shots as she shared in this special moment with her mom and cuddled one of her cute dogs. We grabbed a black and white photo looking through a doorway as she stepped into her dress, then some candid shots as she relaxed with her bridesmaids in the light-filled room. We also documented the moment she read a note card from her groom before capturing some stunning portraits incorporating her bouquet.
Meanwhile, Barry and his groomsmen were making their final preparations at the River Hills Country Club, so we captured some casual portraits as they explored the stunning gardens. We also grabbed a sophisticated shot of them in one of the elegant rooms at River Hills Country Club, as well as a black and white as Barry leaned up against a window in contemplation.

Pre-Ceremony photos at the River Hills Country Club:
As we were capturing some portraits of Dana in the gardens of River Hills Country Club, Barry surprised her with a first look. Although they had planned on having a first look, we loved that he created this spontaneous moment and the natural reactions it allowed us to capture.
After documenting their first look, we used the time available to capture some romantic portraits of the couple in this loved-up moment and some candid shots as Dana admired Barry’s cufflinks, which featured photos of their dogs. Some scattered showers began falling, but not enough to put a dampener on the day or stop their wedding ceremony taking place in the River Hills Country Club gardens.

Ceremony photos at River Hills Country Club:
Dana and Barry exchanged vows in front of their closest family and friends on the golf course of the River Hills Country Club, with a white bridal arch framing them. We captured sweeping wide angles of their gorgeous, garden ceremony site, as well as capturing all the moments of their first kiss and joyous recessional walk.
Dana and Barry then celebrated with their bridal party as we captured a few post-ceremony portraits. We also utilized our off-camera flash for some dramatic shots beneath the hanging Spanish moss and beside the River Hills Country Club’s pond as storm clouds rolled in above.

We captured all the dance floor action as they celebrated with those closest to them during a cocktail-style reception before making their grand sparkler exit.
